How long have you been in business?
Fox Valley Special Recreation Association (FVSRA) has been in existence for 38 years.
What is your primary product or service?
FVSRA provides special recreation and therapeutic recreation services to individuals with disabilties/special needs of all ages.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
FVSRA serves the park district and recreation departments of the communities of Fox Valley, Batavia, Geneva, Oswegoland, St. Charles, Sugar Grove and the Village of South Elgin. While our office is located in the Vaughan Athletic Center in Aurora, our activities take place throughout the seven member agency boudaries.

FVSRA is located in the Vaughan Athletic Center at 2121 West Indian Trail in Aurora. One half mile east of Orchard Road and 1/4 mile west of Edgelawn.

Which areas do you service?
Aurora, North Aurora, Batavia, Oswego, Montgomery, Sugar Grove, South Elgin, St. Charles, Geneva as well as many communities in West Kane County and Kendall County.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
FVSRA is overseen by a Board of Directors made up of representatives from each of the seven Member Agencies (Oswegoland, Fox Valley, Geneva, Batavia, St. Charles, Sugar Grove Park Districts and the Village of South Elgin Park and Recreation Department.
Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the overall operations.
What are your hours of operation?
Business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm and Saturdays from 9:00 am to noon. Activities are conducted Monday through Saturday and sometimes on Sunday.
